Our congregation came together in 1853 to "Glorify God by making disciples for Jesus Christ" and that has been our mission ever since. Our physical location has always been the center of Cedar Falls, Iowa USA, and our outreach is worldwide. Parts of our current facility date to 1895, and a nearly-constant cycle of planning, addition and renovation keeps us moving forward in pursuit of our mission.
In worship, we have traditional roots, and cutting-edge explorations. From our Sunday morning traditional services, to Greenhouse Family Praise; from our low-key Saturday evening service, to the high-energy Ignition Worship Experience, and the contemplative, 5:00 a.m. Daybreak Prayers we hold twelve bible-based and Christ-centered services every week.
The backbone of any congregation is the relationships that are formed, and our small groups are the are the incubators for those relationships. Mens' groups, womens' groups, youth and childrens' groups, study groups, prayer groups, accountability groups, mission groups, musical groups and social groups allow everyone to find a comfortable fit.
Our mission of making disciples requires constant progress in expanding our community of faith and the Kingdom of God. Toward that end, we can equip you with the knowledge, tools and support for your personal walk of faith - whether you're a believer, a seeker, or just curious.
