Cedar Lodge

Our congregation built Cedar Lodge at the Methodist Camp in Clear Lake, Iowa in 1924.  The camp has since been sold to private owners and the neighborhood is now known as Bell Harbor.  However; we still own our lodge and it is available to church groups, members and friends from spring through fall.

Cedar Lodge is a clean and utilitarian base for your retreat or vacation.  There is a fully-equipped kitchen, a large common area with comfortable seating at one end and dining space at the other.  There are separate restrooms for men and women, both with shower facilities.  Sleeping accommodations are bunkhouse-style in two separate upstairs bedrooms, with space for up to 33 people.  On the lower level is one bedroom with a double bed.

Clear Lake is a short walk through the Bell Harbor neighborhood, with a sandy play area and designated swimming space between the docks.  Cedar Lodge has no television to distract you from the fellowship of your group.  Bring your water toys, your books, bikes, lawnchairs, and golf clubs.  Enjoy the cabin, the lake, your friends and all of the activities and sights of the Clear Lake area.

Rates and reservations are availabel by calling the church office.
