Students will learn about Bible stories and people of the Bible through stories, games, music, and crafts.
K-5th: Power Express
*K-2nd meet in room 119 *3rd-5th meet in room 123 Each morning begins with 10-15 minutes of everyone joining in a time of fellowship and worship. Each class will then rotate to a different area each week to explore the lessons through ART, VIDEO, GAMES, STORYTELLING, SCIENCE, AND CREATIVE COOKERY STATIONS. Between the rotations we have special “Bible Sundays” to introduce and focus on The Lord’s Prayer, Fruit of the Spirit, Old/New Testament books, Ten commandments, Apostle’s Creed and the Twenty-Third Psalm.
UMCC - Kids Choir
Have a whole bunch of fun! We'll learn some great songs about God and maybe even throw in a few dance moves. We're a spunky group and we perform in worship several times each year. All K - 5 kids are welcome! Practice is on Wednesdays from 5:45 - 6:30. Come for choir and stick around for BLAST. Rachel Black is the director.
B.L.A.S.T. - Wednesday Evenings, 6:30 - 7:30
(Bible Learning And Service Together) K-5
BLAST is an exciting hour for kids, designed to teach a little bit of the Bible, burn off some energy, and work for a service project. Each week we'll learn a Bible verse, have fun-time in the gym, and will work together on a project for the church or community. Learn the Bible, and learn to play and work together while developing an attitude of service to others. BLAST begins Wednesday, October 7. Come early and sing in the choir, too!
3rd Grade and Family Bible Class
Third grade is the age at which kids at first are presented with their Bibles. Rather than simply hand them a book, we offer a class for the kids and the parents together to learn how to use their Bibles. Families will be challenged to read, study and pray together as they learn their way around the Bible. What a great way to introduce your child to the Bible, to re-introduce yourself to the Bible, and to have a common focus to draw your family closer! The course runs for eight weeks. Christmas Program
The magic of Christmas presented by the kids of FUMC. Children in the 3-year old-5th grade Sunday School Classes learn and experience the Christmas story as they prepare during the month of November. All children who attend Sunday School participate.
Service & Mission Projects
Each year, Sunday School classes, B.L.A.S.T. and Vacation Bible School have opportunities to learn about and participate in special projects. The children have participated in working at the Church Rummage Sale set-up, collected food and delivered to the Food Bank, and made cards and posters for people in the hospital or homebound.
Vacation Bible School
One week during the summer in the evenings, the church is filled with 3-year-olds-5th graders as we have a great week exploring different Bible Themes. We'll have activities, songs and learning through doing.

Church Childcare
Sunday Morning and as requested childcare is provided for ages 6 weeks – kindergarten.
