United Methodist Women

The united Methodist Women meet in both small and large groups to learn to know God more fully, and to support the missions of the church.

Membership in UMC also includes membership in one of the "circle" small groups.  In these circles, you'll become close to other women as you learn and work together.

The UMW (whole group) meets on second Thursdays at 1:00 p.m. for a program, a brief business meeting and social time. Circles (small groups) typically meet monthly, September through June: Deborah, Mary, Miriam, Naomi, Martha, M&Ms and Hearts and Hands.

W.I.L.D.

Women In Loving Discipleship is a group interested in having a good time while becoming more faithful.  WILD organizes group tours to Women of Faith events.   Watch the monthly newsletters and weekly announcements for information on the next outing.

Wednesday Morning Women's Study

The focus of this group is, support each other in prayer, exploring the scriptures as they are relevant in our lives today, and keep each other accountability on how we are doing in our walk with God. Drop in any Wednesday morning at 9:00 in the LaFavre Parlor.

Tuesday Quilters

The quilters and stitchers meet on Tuesdays in room 159 from 9:30 until 3:00 and work on a variety of projects. There is no set time for any given activity so come and go as your schedule permits -- The quilters are usually working on quilts for the Thanksgiving Ingathering Quilt Auction. Sewers (machines are here) work on making school bags, kimonos or other mission projects. Ironers press the items that need pressing. Knitters make sweaters for the Ingathering layettes, some get items ready for Ingathering kits, and others bring their own projects and come for the fellowship.
