He and his wife, Felicia, have traveled in 35 states and several foreign countries, telling God’s love in ways the current generation will hear. He preaches the gospel with storytelling and music, and by using contemporary characters to bring life to ancient stories! from Bishop Trimble’s biographical statement to the North Central Jurisdictional Conference… “Rev. Dr. Julius C. Trimble was born June 18, 1954 in Chicago, Illinois. He is the fourth of six children born to John and Marybelle Pryor Trimble of Montgomery, Alabama. A lifelong Methodist, Julius was nurtured in the faith as a child, youth, and young adult at Christ United Methodist Church in Chicago, Illinois. Active in Methodist Youth Fellowship, Young Life Urban Ministries, and United Methodist Camping, Julius answered the call to preach at age 16. After the death of his father in 1969, Julius was mentored by strong Christian men including his pastor, Dr. John Porter.
